What suppliers miss in Oklahoma
- The 100-mile rule is unusual: a national mail-order supplier generally needs an accredited location within 100 miles of each Oklahoma patient it serves, unless it fits the specialized-product exception.
- Pharmacies, O&P practitioners, suppliers of insulin infusion pumps and related supplies, and suppliers of FDA-approved devices used to treat cancerous tumors are exempt from the Act.
- Each location is licensed separately, a license may not be held at a residence or storage unit, and the application is notarized.
